Tomorrow the Governors plan is brought to light on the status of 1 million Florida Retirement participates. The Governor is looking to cut over 1/3 of our retirement, remove the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP), and not include overtime to calculate the 3 highest years. No Governor in the history of Florida, has ever attempted such a bold move against Law Enforcement. The Governor also want to make the Department of Corrections ( DOC) private. Thus, if you feel that these moves are an injustices, we ask you to e-mail your State Representative and Senator and tell them not to vote for this bill.
