Congratulations to the Mount Dora Police

It has gone without mention that the Mount Dora Police Department has created Spanish language translations of both the "Victims Rights Pamphlets" and the "Crime Scene" tape. The tape now reads "Linea de Policia no cruzar" along with "Police line do not cross". The Spanish language pamphlet has been available for several years, but was just recently updated to include a message from the Chief of Police.

The Spanish version of the victims rights pamphlets has been helpful in assisting Latinos who have been victims of domestic violence and violent crimes get the assistance they need. This is a major step forward in acknowledging that the Latino community has a voice in Mount Dora.

Let see if the Chief can continue his excellent service to the community by providing a Spanish language translation of the police department web site.
